What has happened since the last entry?
The day after the volcano, we wanted to go surfing again and went to one of our favorite spots. However, there were no waves and also the access road was blocked, many farmers and cops ... So we naturally wanted to know what's going on there. After our guess was a cattle market but it has been found out that it was a "de Boeuf Tirant Competition", an event of Zugbullen was. That is, two bulls with a loaded timber trucks shall raise up a steep muddy slope and hold a group of 5 farmers in front of the car slide backwards and yell at the cops alternately provided with lashes. All the track of about 500m then takes minutes about 8. So we are watching after an hour ago the show moved on to the next spot!!
was in the next week, except college and surfing not much, for the internship, I've paved the way, this is also clear that I have less credit points for which a bissel doing laboratory work. Only until the start up is always so ne thing ...
'm on it on Sunday the following weekend, I became ill after a weekend of excessive surf and little sleep and have the crap one weeks rumgeschleppt with me. I know what it was net, but fortunately I am now back as far as fit. Nevertheless, I did on Wednesday with Niklas (one of Sweden), the neighboring islands of Les Saintes "visit. Should be very fantastic with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Unfortunately, our good old Murphie has a line drawn through the bill! After we left at 6:30 in the morning at any case the ship by 8 to get there was 10 minutes before we were at the harbor (we even had 45 minutes time), a huge traffic jam -> no movement ... Niklas is then laid up and there has been found out that's a huge accident happened, luckily only injured, but 6 hours was blocked the road (which is forever if you consider that there is only one other ;-) He has always told more people came but no one really knew what to do. As the helicopter came nebeneinanderstehnde then have 5 people in completely different directions shown at the landing site view ...
Well, on the Internet which was still a boat to 10e and one leaves at 11e, so run-around and march you through Route de traverse nearly two hours to get to the boat, hehe, misinformation on the net ... was not any more. A little disappointed we then decided to stop at de Pigeon Islet, the best diving in the Caribbean to go snorkeling: missed the boat and wait for three hours, but then too much ... So go back home, drink a beer and chill at the beach home. Maybe next time will work out!!
On Saturday I went to the doctors and there are many incredible here, the German part of their PJ complete "La Desirade" driven. Another island, the very little touristy and is omitted from many. We rented bikes and are the coastal road (the island is 11km long, 2km wide, but only 300 of the coast is inhabited, then it'll straight up) back and brought here, in between chilling on the beach and had a nice day. Pure landscape, the island was nothing special, but for a day out with bikes when the time has certainly something different!
So next week I will then take time for the Lab and discuss the details of the internship and hopefully start, otherwise I have no big plans.
